Kiana Schiffer transforms the ordinary into visually compelling narratives through her inspiration from classical and elements. Born in Ashland, Oregon, she now creates from her home in Bend, Oregon. Using acrylic, film photography, calligraphy ink, writing and cinematography as her main mediums.Her art aims to challenge the viewers’ perception of reality; often surrounding feminists and humanistic based concepts. The central themes that Kiana’s work explores are the human experience and the specific limitations of a woman’s experience in Westernized society. She frequently addresses themes of isolation and connectivity. Kiana’s work not only reflects her deep personal connections to her surroundings but also with global womens’ concerns, positioning her art within a broader conversation about the humanities while inviting viewers to interpret her work as an opportunity for connection.
